International flight crisis

 Ok i know I dont normally post two different subjects a night but this is urgent. For all those who have family overseas and plan to visit overseas I just found out that the international airlines opted not to adhere to the customer re-embersement guidlines bc their not obligated to follow the regulations set by the FCC. so basically if your flight is cancelled then the airlines dont have to give you back your money. please be careful when you do plan to fly and be mindful to read the disclaimers carefully...

Disaster relief

Ok I have recently gotten home after being stranded in my N.Y.C. transit bus for 48 hrs. I was snowed in and couldnt move my bus so me and 9 other bus operators were stuck since sunday December 26th until tuesday December 28th. I believe (and this is my personal view) that with all the budget cuts and layoffs and the hiring freezes the city was left short handed. Their are some neighborhoods that havent seen a snow plow yet. I wanna know if the mayor should be held responsible for the fiasco. The disaster relief preperations have been less than acceptable, atleast for most of the boroughs i've been in so far. whats your oponion.

Shameful behavior in senate.

I am deeply dissapointed in the senate, as I expected the change in senate majority is proving to be more individually motivated. The latest revelation is the senate majority (REP) have refused to do any work until their demands are met in other words their holding the senate hostage in order to get what they want. Mainly extention of bush tax cuts which benefits those that make $250,000 plus a year. Now looking at the state of our economy theirs a very small percentage of people that earn $250,000. The audacity of the republicans who are paid by our tax dollars is daunting and is a insight of what's to come. I certaintly don't blame the democrats for this but I do believe they need to become more aggresive and fight for the little people which is the majority of united states citizens. Also in holding senate hostage the senate majority have not acted on the expiration of unemployment benefits for more than 2 million people accross america. If thats not a slap in the face I dont know what is. We are heading for some dark times I hope and pray that we as a people in whole prepare ourselves mentally and finacially in any way we can.
